A couple of weeks respite – alas my brain is coming too – along with poor balance

Dug the car out of the snow and headed off to an area called Cumbria. The motorways were clear and we made good time. Whilst Susan stocked up at Aldi I walked around the car park to let the pooch have a pee. We could not go into Aldi together as we will not let the pooch sit in the car alone, as some people steal dogs.

Driving in the Yorkshire Moors

What a delightful place, dry stone walls entwine over the hills and the sides of the roads.

What a beautiful place to visit not too live. Our home for the next 2 weeks is not the nicest cottage we have visited. It is an old chapel which has not been converted to a high standard, or may have been converted many years ago and is becoming a bit rough round the ages.

The Cottage was very cold so we were wondering if we had done the right thing. In a knee jerk reaction we order a couple of heaters that we could pick up in a day or so

The stairs are odd and end in a cut off bit, needless to say I fell, one minute I was walking carefully down the stairs then I was in the floor. I do fall quite often and I am seeing a consultant about it Susan pointed out the obvious. “Every time, we go anywhere, you need fall, this is just the first day, why don’t you watch where you’re walking.”

I really hurt my ankle and could not comment as I was moaning wih the discomfort, it swelled up exponentially, however I can walk on it so nothing broken. Very painful.

Once we had settled in and the cold started to lift it was very quickly time to dig out the wooden blankets and off to bed.

I took Temazepam, Diazapam, Buprenorphine and a couple of paracetamol to wash it all down. I do not take all of these normally, I was in a lot of pain and just wanted to wipe it away.

Good Night, God Bless!
